Aboriginal First Ghost

I am a logger in British Columbia, and as one of our long term employees was retiring, I took some pictures of his last day on the job. We are logging in old growth timber (mostly Hemlock/Balsam) up in a blind canyon.
When I previewed the pictures on my computer screen, I was amazed to see the face of what I believe to be a first nations (aboriginal) person clearly in the base of one of the logs . Why it is there? I have no idea. Who knows, had he died at the base of this tree and had his life force been forever entwined with that of the tree? I'd like to think so.
