Receipt For One Slave

Slave document states: "On or before the 1st of January next, we promise to pay Josiah O. Watson, or order, one hundred and fifty dollars for value received in the hire of a negro Charles who is to be furnished with two full suits of clothes suitable for winter and summer, hat, blanket, shoes & socks; to be treated humanely and employed no other way than common farming and domestic labour." Dated jan 1, 1826 (originally printed 1825 then written over 1826) I can't make out the exact names, it looks like Wm. Campbell , Daniel Morrisite? and Wm. W. Gamy. About 3/34 by 7 1/2 inches. A sad testament to the institution of slavery in this country in the 1800's
